HEROs are organizations that care for the physical and emotional health of their associates and the organization. An orientation towards the positive is indispensable to meet this objective. This workshop is a continuation of my keynote in wellbeing 360 where you will learn how to measure different elements of a HERO (i.e., healthy organizational practices and resources, employee wellbeing and healthy organizational outcomes) and make decisions about what kind of positive psychological interventions (PPI) are important in order to develop and sustain organizational wellbeing over time. This workshop is directed to work and organizational psychologists and managers who wish to use science-based protocols in order to be flourishing organizations.

The science of character, as outlined by the cross-cultural VIA Classification of 24 character strengths and VIA Survey, now amounts to more than 700 scholarly articles in a short period of time. The benefits of these character strengths range from greater meaning, happiness, and better relationships to the management of stress, problems, and life adversities. Applications abound across disciplines to business/organizations, education, healthcare, coaching, parenting, disability, and self-development, and emerging in areas of peace, spirituality, and the environment.
